The aim of the HI Links project is to enable UHI to become the heart of a Highlands and Islands knowledge economy and to develop all commercial opportunities where-ever possible. The project is helping to nurture a culture of innovation, research and commercialisation and in so doing, energise the knowledge economy of the entire Highlands and Islands region.
Greater access to research and development resources through collaborative projects provide businesses with a competitive advantage by, for example:

- increasing sales

UHI HI Links support and advice is ongoing, impartial and confidential. We work with any size of business, social enterprise or community group working in any sector in the Highlands and Islands. We are a free service helping companies to develop business ideas in collaboration with Scotland’s academic experts. Our sevices include:
